Even a few weeks of sun did not discourage Kathryn in returning to beautiful Britain just in time to join the band at the Whit Friday Marches on Saddleworth Moor on 1st June. She left her new husband Steve at home (nothing like love is there??!) but we were very pleased that at least one of them could join us! The band were also privilaged to be joined by former Bandmaster Matt Booth and his new wife Michelle, who were on their honeymoon! Thankfully the weather was beautiful for the March Contests which went very well and will be the subject of a seperate article on here shortly.

We wish Kathryn and Steve and Matt and Michelle the very best for the future.

They must remember though that however much life may go on there is still time for brass bands!
