St Albans get an insight into modern art |

The modern art event in the Maltings Shopping Centre in St Albans is
the brainchild of Insight, the Digital and Lens Group of the Herts
Visual Arts Forum. It is hoped that there will be a wide variety of
artists and artworks on display as well as demonstrations. Included in
this will be the Installation that involves the band.
The band were recorded during a rehearsal during August and the
resultant recording will be used in the installation at the former
bandstand in the Maltings, which is now used by Costa Coffee as a
seating area. A broken Tuba will be the centrepiece and will emit
snippets of music and conversation depicting the change of use of the
area over the years.
There will be events for both young and old and you are all invited along to join the fun.
