Members of St Albans City Band were pleased to be involved in the recording of an episode of Channel 4's 'Friday Night Project' comedy show on 31st July with well known actress and personality Miss Joanna Lumley.

St Albans City Band members Erin Loudoun and Steve Cook joined with members of Redbridge Brass to form a brass group to create a celebratory atmosphere in a prank for Channel 4's Friday Night Project along with the actress Joanna Lumley. Filming took place in the London Docklands and involved an unsuspecting member of the public who was conned by Joanna Lumley into completing a charity bike ride wearing a wig pretending to be her. 

The Band played the march 'Death or Glory' and although the filming took some considerable time a great day was had by all.
