Quizzing all over... PDF Print E-mail
Band social events are the name of the game at the moment, and thus on the 21st November the band ‘team’ (formerly regulars at the Sunday quiz at 'The Goat' in Sopwell Lane) went along to the Monday quiz night at The King Harry Pub in St. Albans...
Although the turnout from the band wasn’t great this time (one band member plus friends!), we managed to score a respectful 24/40, with the winning team scoring 29/40, for 3 of us it wasn’t too bad.

It would be great if we could have had a bigger turn out, maybe we could have got full marks!! Well we can always hope!

A few example questions from this quiz, on a variety of subjects are:

What is the second most common language spoken in Australia?

In ‘The Simpsons’ what is the name of Ned Flanders’ wife?

If someone from Scotland is a Scot, what is someone from Sardinia called?

The next quiz night will be at the King Harry on Monday 16th January 2006 from 20:00 – hope to see you all there!
