Catherine_Reeves04.jpgCatherine first picked up the Baritone at the tender age of 8 having been 'dragged' to several Brass Band concerts by her father who, at the time, presented a Brass Band radio programme in Yorkshire. Catherine achieved Grade 8 at the age of 17 and played with several youth bands in Yorkshire (the highlights being playing at both the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall in London). Catherine then took a break from playing during University and her training to become a solicitor before being drawn to the sounds of St Albans City Band one day while out shopping (one of her favourite pastimes).

Catherine has played with the band since 2003 and currently plays Second Horn.
