Bardzo ładna i przydatna stronka, pozdrawiam.
Just making contact. You have 2 of our ex players playing for you now I think. Simon and Leanne. We were really sad when they had to relocate.
Good luck from us at Durham Miners Association Band for the forthcoming contest

What a lovely tribute to my Dad, George Wright. Thank you. He taught me to play tenor horn. He loved talking about the band, the concerts and contests and the G trombone I met my husband, David, in the band and we have been married 38 years. So I have alot to thank Dad and the band for.By the way I made the blue music stand banners!

I am sorry to hear that George passed away in July, it was always great to have him watching the band rehearsals. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by the band. The brass band world needs more people like him.
Thank you so much for posting your tribute to my father George Wright, all the family have lots of fine memories when dad and Barbara played in the band and our treat was the sunday afternoon trips to the london parks and verulamium park when we were children he will be missed with love and affection by all who knew him Best Wishes Anthony Wright
Good to meet some of you last night in the pub rather than at rehearsal, but I'll aim for better luck next time I can get there!
Great to hear the band is doing well.....keep it up!

p.s. the link has gone dead in the Alan Webster feature!
I play 2nd euph with Grimsdyke in Harrow, but live in St Albans. Only started playing again in 2002 after a 20 yr lay off and never knew how much I'd missed it.
.
Other than hearing you at the LSC contests I haven't yet made it to my 'local' band so will try and pop over to one of your Xmas concerts.
